Alice Vander Haak grew up working on dairy and berry farms in Northwest Washington State. Despite a strong resolve to find a more urban career, her passion for food and the environment and education in Food and Nutritional Sciences led her right back to farming!

 

Alice spent many years working on, managing and co-owning small-scale vegetable farms before starting her own vegetable and cut flower farm in Snohomish, Washington in 2018. 

 

Alice has been taking a break from farming to welcome twins to her family and move across the country to Austin. She’s more excited than ever for the opportunity to get started again here in Austin and can’t wait to become a part of the farming community.
