Genice Harris is a registered nurse, farmer, herbalist, educator, and community advocate dedicated to cultivating health, connection, and food sovereignty through sustainable agriculture. As Farm Manager and owner of Brown Farmer LLC and Aligned & Well Apothecary, she helps grow culturally relevant foods and herbs that honor the traditions of the African diaspora while nourishing communities across Central Texas. Through farming, education, and wellness initiatives, Genice works to reconnect people to the land, preserve agricultural knowledge, and inspire healthier, more resilient communities. She believes that growing food is a right and privilege —it is also an act of healing, empowerment, resistance, and community building.
