Melanie joined us in the Fall of 2025 bringing her 8-year experience in finance, administration, and human resources. She graduated in the fall of 2012 from The University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Psychology, Minor in Spanish, and Certification in Business Foundations. Although originally from Houston, her time at UT showed her that Austin is home. She is privileged to serve Austin’s community and Farmshare Austin’s mission to create a just and equitable local food system as she understands the burden families face from food insecurity. In her down time she loves exploring hidden trails with her husband and dog son, Bean.
