Michaela is from the Delta and grew up sitting around the kitchen table snapping beans and shelling peas from her grandma’s garden. For Michaela, growing and sharing food is the best way she can take care of her community while the systems in place are actively harming us. She is committed to untangling the exploitative roots of farming that show up in her own practice and returning to a right relationship with the earth. She is honored to be one of many stewards of the land in this beautiful community.
