Ross was born and raised in Austin, TX and spent the majority of his youth avoiding the sun.  After receiving an Associates degree from Austin Community College in Music Business, Production & Technology, he worked locally as an Audio Technician.  After many long nights on the music scene, Ross needed a change which he found in an internship at Urban Roots.

 

The seed was planted, and a new life path was taking root.  Ross was accepted to and completed FarmShare's Farmer Starter Program before being hired on as the Assistant Farm Manager.  Soon after, Ross was hired by Cabo Bob's Burritos to design and install a small farm for their new farm-to-table restaurant concept.

 

In 2021, after receiving numerous requests for gardening advice, Ross and his wife Lea founded their own small business, Garden Victories, specializing in home garden design and consulting, with a focus on growing fresh, nutrient-dense food.  Then, in 2023, Garden Victories was approached to help design and consult in the development of Hope Full Farm in Dripping Springs, TX.

 

Now, Ross is excited to be back at FarmShare in their Cultivator Program.  He hopes to use this opportunity for Garden Victories to empower more people looking for gardening advice and guidance.
